Remote access!
I'm fairly new to the mySQL databse, I installed everything just fine and it was very easy. I'm using windows xp pro and visual basic .net to connect to the databse.
My problem is when I try to access mySQL server from another machine in the network. I can't do it! I tried using my computer's name and IP address, using both root and other users and either way I can only access the databse locally, never from another computer.
Is this supposed to be like that? did I miss some configuration process?
I hope someone can help me!
