Hi Norbert,
I just spoke with our MySQL Connector/ODBC developer, and he confirmed that support for features that are available in versions 4 (and newer) of MySQL will be added with the new release 3.53 of MyODBC which will come soon.
This feature should be available in the 3.53 bitkeeper repository, but the developer said that it isn't stable enough for him to recommend people to play with it.
