Just to reiterate:
If someone could please give me the correct "radio buttons" to tick in workbench and or the words to type into where...
or,
if someone could say..."this is how you open the terminal in windows and this is what you do to "start with --FEDERATED...

I, and probably quite a few new users would be greatly appreciative.

I found the discussion from a short while ago here about " --FEDERATED" in terminal, I just don't know "how" to do it...

And please do not worry about me "borking my system"...I do that a lot...all data is stored off the OS on a USB stick so not a problem there.
