Mysqlfrm
I've been trying to restore the database under XAMPP. For some unknown reason the only files left from the database are .frm files. I've downloaded the tools for Windows 64-bit and tried to follow the instructions posted on this web site.
I've tried both modes of the utilities. If I use the "basedir" option it cannot read the server file. If I connect to the running server it does connect and creates the spawned server but cannot read the .frm files. It ends either with "cannot read" message or "permissions denied". I transferred the database folder to the new user called "mysql" with all access rights and ran the spawned server with the "user" option. It still cannot read the files.
I'd appreciate if somebody who has experience in running mysqlfrm under XAMPP tell me what could be wrong.
