Cindy,
When you say that you've added the database, what exactly have you done? If you have just used a CREATE DATABASE... statement then all that will do is to create the database itself (and associated directory) but you will then need to create the individual tables.
However, if you are running a script or something to create the database and the tables, then what is it?
