Hebrew MySQL dump charset problems

Hi everyone.
I just exported a MySQL dump file from my MediaWiki system (media_dump.sql) and for some reason I see gibberish in the data fields (such as ןא&to©×”%3Aשבועית) that represent Hebrew (I guess...). Now when I'm trying to import it to new DB, that I've already created with the right character set and collation, it is still gibberish.
Has anyone ever bumped into this issue?
