Re: Migration Toolkit failed after I installed JRE 1.5
This is strange. There is no reason why the MT shouldn't work with 1.5. Actually I am using 1.5 here as well.
We scan the following registry keys for the Java Runtime Lib.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.4\RuntimeLib
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.5\RuntimeLib
Could you verify if you still have these entries after installing 1.5? I have seen systems where the keys are missing - but I have no idea how this could happen.
Apart from the registry keys there is no method I know of to detect the proper position of the jvm.dll
If anybody has an idea to do so, you're welcome!
