I have managed to get rid of a couple of problems noted earlier:

Select 'statistical' instead of 'user defined' in 'Object Mapping' which
creates 'ENGINE=MySQL' . These have to be removed later and
the objects recreated, but the SQL statements then do not produce
any errors.

If I replace the 'Primary Key' NULL with 'NOT NULL' instead of UNIQUE,
the errors here no longer occur.

Unfortunately, Bulk Transfer still produces:

The SQL create statements could not be created (error: 0).
MigrationAccess.dataBulkTransfer :Unknown system variable 'FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS'

I have not been able to figure this one out.
