Production?
I know it is advised against using the partitioning on a production server, but I am at my wits end on how to deal with some of my current database troubles. I really think the partitioning will help greatly with this and I was actually in the process of manually using multiple tables to do the same thing that partitioning will do.
My question is, for those of you who have been working with 5.1.12 and the partitioning, do you think it is too risky to use in a production environment? I'm not talking about a multi-million dollar app here, but it is still important to be somewhat stable.
