Hi,

Thank you for reply,

On Intel P4 3.0 GHz, 1GB RAM, windows XP Version 5.1 service pack 2, 5.1.14-beta-community-nt MySQL Community Server (GPL), When i tried to increase "OPEN_FILES_LIMIT=8000", It remains to 2048 being OS limitation.

I tried to increased by configuring the OS.But could not come up with the answer.

PLEASE HELP!!! How can i increase the OS open files limit in this regard.
