Hi there,

Of course my machine is not a server. I know. But I have to live with it.

For my demands its ok when the DB is read-only.
So I have compressed the table with myisampack and used PACK_KEYS=1.
Now I have a much better performance, about 2,5 times faster than before.

So far so good. Ok, it is still slow, I know.

Any ideas, what I can do else ?
