Problem in install of MySQL pkgs.
I am doing the installation of Snort in RedHat 9.
Following are the packages, that are asked to be installed for Snort.
MySQL-server-4.0.20-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-client-4.0.20-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-devel-4.0.20-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-shared-4.0.20-sl3.i386.rpm
php-4.2.2-17.i386.rpm
php-mysql-4.2.2-17.i386.rpm
I try to install the last "php-mysql-4.2.2-17.i386.rpm" its ask for dependency "libmysqlclient.so.10".
"libmysqlclient.so.10" is available in "mysql-3.23.58-1.9.i386.rpm" RedHat 9.0
But, i was not able install this package "mysql-3.23.58-1.9.i386.rpm" and i am getting error.
Can you pleae help me.
My system is,
Linux snort 2.4.20-8 #1 Thu Mar 13 17:54:28 EST 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
