about mysqlcc

i have installed the mysqlcc-0.9.4-linux-glibc22.tar.gz but..
too bad i dont have permission to unzip it at root directory ( /usr/local )..

so is this means i cant use mysqlcc ???

and i follow the intruction to unzip it in my home directory ( /home/myName )

but when i type
./configure <---- ./configure: Command not found

then i list all the contents in the mysqlcc folder...
dont have such file name configure.. but i saw mysqlcc

then i try to run it... make mysqlcc <-- `mysqlcc' is up to date.

then nothing happen..
i quit the shell command..
back to the user interface..
i find the mysqlcc file and double click the mysqlcc but shown an error msg <--cannot execute

how ??? is there anyway for me to download or use it online without downloading ???

Any help will be appreciated !
