Re: Access denied when setting up MySQL
I have exactly the same problem. I was hoping there would be an answer on this forum.
I have just downloaded mysql for evaluation purposes and this doesn't bode well.
Is this problem due to:
a) mysql rejecting the connection
b) a port access problem
c) a windows user authentication problem
d) some other cause
