[SOLVED] Re: Cannot reinstall/configure server 5.6

Problem solved and reinstallation succeeded. I had forgotten that there were also remnants of MySQL in the ProgramData directory. Once removed, reinstall went fine. Now, all I have to do is restore data. Fun!
