Recover data from old laptop harddisk
Hi,
Installed MySQL 5.7.14 using WAMP on a Win 10 laptop.
The laptop was stolen but have a backup of the hard drive, and have located the data on this (\wamp64\bin\mysql\mysql5.7.14\data).
All the databases are there as separate folders containing, for each table in the database, a FRM and IBD file. Some have MYI or MYD files which I assume are indexes. For each database there is also a db.opt file.
Have a new laptop, on which I have installed MySQL 8.0.21, again via WAMP.
Question is can I import the data from the old system into the new one, and if so how to do it?
