Hi

Q0:- Plz let me know how to use partitioned index / sparse index in Archive Engine. Where can i find documentation & examples.

Archive engine table uses very small disk space & provides better insertion performance (100,000 inserts/sec) than MyISAM. BUT very slow in retrieval!!!!

Q1:- My Archive engine table has 300 partitions each having 500Million records. How to create SPARCE INDEX / PARTITIONED INDEX to INCREASE retrieval performance???

Q2:- IF ARCHIVE IS NOT GOING TO HELP, WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Q3:- SHOULD I MOVE TO MS SQL SERVER or ORACLE?

Thank you,
IR.
