Migrating Archive Tables back from 5.1 to 5.0 (missing .ARM file)

I am trying to get an archive table created in 5.1.28-rc to work on a 5.0.67 system.

For MyISAM tables, it is as simple as copying the .frm, .MYD, and .MYI files, but the archive in 5.1 appears to not have a .ARM file - I copy the two files that exist, the .ARZ and .frm files, but 5.0 thinks the archive is corrupt.

Is the .ARM file no longer used for archives in 5.1?

I have several of these and they are huge (150GB+ total), so a typical dump/restore will take literally 100 times longer than the file copy... Any ideas?

Thanks
