error on optimize table : The table '#sql-1be4_8' is full

Hi,

I have an InnoDb database on which I tried to do an optimize table on each table this morning.
But optimization failed on "optimize table caisselignes extended".
I get the following error : "The table '#sql-1be4_8' is full".

Can anyone explain me what this error means ?

My table caisselignes has 8 942 230 records, but I thinked that an innodb table can have more !

And in the error message, the name of the table is not caisselignes but '#sql-1be4_8', what does it mean ?

How can I solve this problem ?
