Buid Mysql from source for 64 bit processor
Hello,
I am working with NGO. and we have mysql 4.1.0.
We have Mysql performance issue...
We have Dell PowerEdge 64-bit processor with 14 GB RAM.and Turstix Linux 2.2
We are uisng InnoDB as database Engine.
We have millions of records in Mysql tables. We are not geting good performance.
If concurrent connectiosn reached 290 mysql stop taking more connections but we have set max connection as 800.
We are planning to compile Mysql to support 64-bit so we get advantage for 14 GB RAM in mysql buffer.
Please advise on this.....
Thank you
Regards
Ghoghari
