Hello,
the easiest way to download from mysql.bkbits.net is using the free bitkeeper client. The following command will get you a directory "mysql-5.1-telco" in your current working directory that contains the 5.1-telco sources:
$ bkf clone bk://mysql.bkbits.net/mysql-5.1-telco mysql-5.1-telco
There are more detailed instructions in the manual, including how to obtain a copy of the free bk client:
