Not sure what you are after, you can find tons of information using
a simple query on a search engine like Google. The page
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/c.html
show the API. If you search for the function name "mysql_real_connect"
and "tutorial" you most likely find examples of usage.
You are not asking others to do your homework are you? ;)
