You are using MariaDB, not MySQL and this is not compatible. MySQL 8.0 does not declare my_bool so you would not get this error.
MySQL 8.0 is unfortunately not available for your platform (Debian arm 32-bit). You could try to simply remove that #define line in MYODBC_MYSQL.h but you may very well run into other compatibility problems.
