I'm not sure if you have access to a timeline (I have my emails), but I can assure you that the day 4.1.10 was released, it was verified to be an error, and had been for 32 days.

It was verified on Jan. 14:
ID: 7878
Updated by: Victoria Reznichenko
Reported by: Michael Kellogg
User Type: User
-Status: Open
+Status: Verified
Priority: Low
Category: Server: MyISAM
Operating System: Windows 2000
Version: 4.1.8-nt

I would suggest changing the documentation where it says "we have not released a single MySQL version with any known..." to "we do not generally release new MySQL versions with any known...". This might be best to maintain credibility.

Yes, I see the patch has been approved and will be in 4.1.11. Thank you!
