Results with identical fields
I want to proceed to link a database to my website.
My current database (MS spreadsheet) contains 20 fields per primary identity. Some of the identities are the same as are some of the field contents across the database.
Can I obtain results that display ALL the fields with the SAME name irrespective of the primary name.
For example:
1 John Field 4: London
2 David Field 5: London
3 George Field 7: London
I want a search for London to produce 3 results: John, David, George
In short I want the results to identify ALL instances of the search name no matter which field it is in or how many instances of it there are in the database.
How does MySQL handle this ?
