Monitoring MySQL : Understanding and maximizing your MySQL database

The Monitoring MySQL project is designed:
1. To detail the MySQL and OS instrumentation that can and should be monitored for MySQL systems.
2. To describe existing products , plugins and techniques that are both free and commercial for monitoring the various possible instrumentations.
3. To provide a forum for comment and discussion on understanding and improving MySQL monitoring.
4. To provide an extensible open source platform designed and developed specifically for MySQL monitoring providing features as required by the user community.
This monitoring project is designed to support MySQL Community Server Version 5.0 and greater, MySQL Enterprise Server Version 5.0 and greater, Drizzle and MariaDB on Linux Operating Systems.
