mysql proxy core dumps/crash

I am receiveing the following while connecting to mysql proxy via perl


network-mysqld.c.1318: network_mysqld_write(CON_STATE_SEND_QUERY_RESULT) returned an error

What happens is on mutliple (quick) refreshes of the web page which calls mysql proxy on the local host I get the above error message

If anyone tells me where to send the log files I can do that as well
