Hi,
thank you for reporting this issue. There is already a bug report regarding this https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=111794 . The bug is scheduled to be fixed soon. The IC CR is modified correctly but the underlying CronJob object is not due to a deffect in the operator code.
