In looking at my laptop here at home, without my dual monitors, I have it set to Normal Size (96 DPI) at 1680x1050. The laptop has a 15 wide screen on it. It bounces.
When I'm hooked to my external monitors, I run in 1280x1024. I'm not sure the DPI, if it is different than 96 I will let you know.
