Hi Dennis,

You have very valid points there.

MySQL Workbench has been designed with logical modeling and multi database support in mind. For the first version we just implemented the physical MySQL support simply because of time/resource limitations.

Just switch to the GRT scripting IDE and browse the Workbench object model and tree to see this in place.

I cannot give you an exact date of when we will implement the logical and multi-database support. It depends how well the tool is received in the community and by customers. If you want to get this implemented sooner, please support the project by getting a Standard Edition license.

All I can tell you now that the things you describe are definitely on the road map.
