MySQL client is not supposed to setup SSH connections. If you want to enable network level encryption, this should be done using external 3rd party tools (e.g. OpenSSH). MySQL client provides only transport layer encryption, that is SSL & Workbench 5.0 provides ability to turn it on in connection properties (see advanced tab sheet).
