Samir,

we explicitly disabled multiple WB instances as they can really get into trouble if running on the same files (WB stores files on the way, whenever it sees a need). When you try to open a model in a new instance of WB then it should actually open in the already running one. If that doesn't work then there must be a bug. Please report that on http://bugs.mysql.com.
