Hi Mike,
Thanks a lot again for answering my questions:
I still had the problem:
1) Create a new diagram and then use File -> Import -> Reverse Engineer MySQL Create Script to import the dump and create a diagram.
Joanne-> My Reserse Engineer MySQL is grayed out. So couldn't select it at all.
Why it is grayed out. Is there anything that I can enable it so I can select it

2) You can connect from any platform that supports MySQL to any other. Just create the connection and server instance in WB as you did for other servers. You might need a working SSH connection to do that if your MySQL server is not reachable via its normal port (usually 3306) and for management of the server and config file.
Joanne-> Still couldn't connect it . The error message is Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1'(10061).
In the connection box for the field SSH HostName - I entered the ipaddress of the Linux server. and in the MySQL Hostname I also entered the ipaddress of the Linux server. Is this correct?
Again thanks so much.
JP
