It shouldn't, but that's exactly what happens. Password in vault - works fine. Password entered manually - connection error.

If I SSH into that server, I use this command:
mysql -uroot -h"xyz.amazonaws.com" -p
So when I try to coonect in MySQL Workbench, I put "xyz.amazonaws.com" in the Mysql Hostname field. I don't put "127.0.0.1" in any field.
