It shouldn't, but that's exactly what happens. Password in vault - works fine. Password entered manually - connection error.

If I SSH into that server, I use this command:

mysql -uroot -h"" -p

So when I try to coonect in MySQL Workbench, I put "" in the Mysql Hostname field. I don't put "" in any field.
