I'm not sure I fully understand your requirements. You edit the SQL scripts in MySQL Workbench, but you want to run them in a terminal? You could run the SQL commands right in that SQL IDE, without having to copy text.
Otherwise, if you really want to use a terminal window (with the classic MySQL app or new new MySQL shell) then why do you use MySQL Workbench at all?
