Solaris Connector/C 6.1.x depends on STLPort now
Hello,
In upgrading to the latest version of the MySQL Connector (going from 6.0.2 to 6.1.5) on Solaris I have noticed that the Connector now distributes and links against STLPort.
Is this a new restriction/requirement for the library? My application still supports using the native standard library which makes using the new Connector unusable due to ABI incompatibilities.
It's a little odd to see a C library having a dependency on the C++ standard library. I assume this isn't an accident and by design, as the library is distributed with the Connector.
Was this change documented anywhere?
