Looking for the same backup capabilities on PC for Server
I currently have MySQL Administrator installed on my desktop pc and it is what I use to run backups for my software database. Instead of transferring my backups to my server I'd prefer to run and save the backups directly onto my server. There is no MySQL Administrator on the server, yet there are some SQL files in the same program files (86) folder for MySQL with an ODBC connector.
I downloaded and ran mysql-installer-community-5.7.12.0, and it asked me if I want to update. Is this the correct route if I want to be able to backup the same way I do on my PC?
