Hello Diana,

Performing an upgrade between release series (such as from 5.7 to 8.0) is not supported by MySQL Installer, however this can be achieved in other ways. Please refer to the MySQL Server upgrade documentation at: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/upgrading.html and https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/windows-upgrading.html.

Additionally, you can post any MySQL Server related questions in the product's forum.
