Re: Move database to a new machine
So basically recreate MySQL on the server and then copy the contents of the original database to it. I thought about doing that but the method I quoted seemed simpler. However, in further reading, I've found that it's generally not recommended to use my device (an older ReadyNAS) as a database server to begin with. So I may leave the database where it is for the time being until I can put together another machine for it to live on. Thanks!
