Yes. I am using a cluster.
Regardless, the query is slower on a standard database install as well. It's actually currently running on a standard database in production and we are moving towards a cluster. The results of the standard EXPLAIN actually looks at 255 rows and then 33 (respectively)... Is the cluster an issue in this case though?
