Re: Can't connect to local DB using IP instead of localhost
These two statements seem to contradict each other:
>> I need my server could be connectable from another hosts.
> no. same machine. same IP. server machine = client machine
In my lexicon, "host" = "machine"; "same IP" = "same machine".
These are (sort of) synonyms for what to connect to on the same machine: localhost, 127.0.0.1, ::1
There are two ways to connect -- via socket and via TCP/IP.
Please provide a list of what combinations (connection string and GRANT) that you have tried, and an indication of which work/fail.
