Additional info:

I editeded the statement WAMP generates, keeping only the primary key and the foreign keys - for the first row. Strangely enough, it worked !

Of course, I had to add a field list in the INSERT statement, so this raises the question if in the original statement I have all the values in their right places. Since the foreign keys are in cols 3 & 4, the answer to this question should be affirmative.

So, for now I still don't know why I get this error.
