Are you talking about various security levels Peter ? By this I mean one level where any user could access the database vs a separate database which has no connection to the UI / php with connection credentials which the users run.
Surely the latter would not be a security risk if the event database's sole purpose is to execute php files on the operational database.
Seems even less of a security issue if running on a closed (inaccessible to the outside) system with admin-issued logins rather than an open system where anyone can create a login.
