If database using INNODB engine will be corrupt when Windows Server restarts?
Hi, I have a database of MySQL5.7 using MYISAM engine which is installed on a single Windows Server machine. I just plan to upgrade to MySQL 8.0 and switch to INNODB engine.
The problem I faced with is that Windows needs to restart after installing security patches and I know that the software linked to MySQL will not be useable when database server stops or during restarting.
The only question is if the database will be corrupt when Windows Server restarts after switching to INNODB? And is there any official guide for users who rely on Windows Server to deploy MySQL with INNODB engine?
Thanks in advance!
