improve the chances crash recovery for MyISAM
Hi I have a critical mysql running 2 DBs with 5 million entries each.
This has been setup with MyISAM quite long time ago. So far no performance issues.
But I would like to have the ease of recovery for MyISAM tables as close can be to InnoDB recovery. I have small MySQL DBs that always need running recovery commands to run offline every time the server crash.
Can someone guide to steps that can be done to improve tables checks?
I have heard that myisam_recover option can make the performance slow and use alot of RAM, what are the other choices?
I'm using version 5.0.92
