Ok, I made some bulk inserts to the database, the size I used for them is an insert for 500 rows. This seemed to work a lot better and cut-down on the time. Could this mean that the InnoDB is providing some kind of check after each insert to see if it completes the transaction. Or is this time attributed to something else?
