Main cause of the Transaction drop was indexes, when we checked some indexes were created with the name as Colum names itself, those column were already in the primary key increased, so we didn't noticed that. When we dropped the indexes other than the primary keys indexes, The transaction dropped got very much improvement. Still some drops were there, but we can tuned them i guess with your above sugessted parameter.
