Why i am trying to drop and re create OR off/on is actually my report developers will run reports which is pointed to my datamart table.

Yes, i have primary key on my target table. but report developers are retrieving data based on few columns thats why i kept indexes for those columns.

So here my scenario is, indexes will be useful while retrieving the data but when i try to load data from staging area to datamart area(writing process) then there is a lot of performance impact.

Hope you understood why i want to apply off/on indexes.
