Ok Peter thanks for your time.

seems i am stuck in between handling regular growth and on other side managing older records to update in-order to use partition efficiently.

i believe if i can manage to update the partition column i can manage to solve the problem upto certain extent.

i think i really have to use very very small chunk for deleting and then have tp approach for optimisation and further updating in very smaller chunks.


Also thanks for drawing attention to the memory swap , that was a big miss from my part.
