Are there a lot of bulk imports? Is software other than MySQL using some of that RAM?

To give a first impression of what's going on, in the mysql client please run the "cheatsheet" script under that heading at https://www.artfulsoftware.com/infotree/mysqltips.php, and post the results here, preferably inside BBCode code tags for readability.
